Each report is a custom document written utilizing the latest available data, never "cloned" from a similar property. I restrict my service area to Chapel Hill and Carrboro in order to provide superior service to my clients. All reports are delivered as Certified PDF documents that automatically validate in Acrobat or Acrobat Reader. My goal is to provide an appraisal report of the highest quality on which you can depend. Allow me to serve you. Orders may be faxed to 888-435-4042; however, orders placed online through Appraisal World are processed faster, resulting in a reduced turn time of the appraisal.
I do not provide value guarantees, it is against North Carolina law for an appraiser to do that, so please do not ask. I recognize that timely communication is always important. I confirm the receipt of all appraisal orders the same day they are received. I begin the process of setting an appointment within 24 hours of confirming the order. You will be notified of the appointment time immediately after the appointment is set. Most appointments are on Saturdays to make scheduling easier for everyone. I will notify you of inspection results the same day. You will know if the property is in good condition or there are issues we need to discuss. Under normal conditions you will have the report by the Monday after the Saturday inspection. In the rare instance of a delay, you will know about it and the reason why early in the day.
All my reports are delivered as certified PDF files using a digital signature issued by GeoTrust. When viewed using Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader on a computer connected to the Internet, the report will automatically validate that it has not been altered. Reports created by me, which are viewed in any other format should be compared to an original PDF to verify their contents.
As a teacher of Mathematics and Computer Skills, I value education highly and work constantly to stay current on all appraisal related issues to ensure the highest quality product possible. I hold a BA degree from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, TN and completed further course work at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA, San Francisco State University in San Francisco, CA, Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA, and at isolated classes at several other schools.
I received my initial appraisal education at Mingle School of Real Estate in Charlotte, NC. Additional appraisal education was received at Real Estate Education Specialists in Orlando, FL and through the Appraisal Institute of which I am an associate member. Specialty education taken includes such topics as Appraising from Blueprints and Specifications, FHA and the Appraisal Process, Manufactured Home Appraisals, as well as several more in-depth classes on the various aspects of residential appraising.
